Ordo Ab Chao: A Latin expression, meaning Order out of Chaos.

I have no affiliation with any secret society, and if I did, then I wouldn’t tell you.

However, this particular motto has recently called out to me and I will share with you now here my current insights into this mystery.

Some time ago I came across a fascinating thread on an internet forum. A decent fellow had taken the time to translate into English a book in German that was actually a text of a collection of Babylonian Cuneiform Tablets.

The “book” was found on stone tablets in Babylon (Iraq), in the beginning of the 20th century. It consists of 19 partly fragmented and incomplete chapters. The author being none other than the Seer for King Nebukadnezar, the High-Priestess of the Temple Area in Bayblon, Sajaha. And while the Book of Sajaha is worth a study in and of itself, we’ll here focus only on a portion.

Sajaha 1

(Letter to the King)

My king, as you have now already known, there are vibrations and flows of different types and strength everywhere, but everywhere and in everything, barely in the merely guessable.

So it is for everything, and so also for the Humans, the existence is of a permanent one in a sea of cosmic and magical vibrations and currents, yes, it is like a vast lake, which in turn has many different seas in itself.

Thus it is everyone that constantly receives from, and donates to these oceans of vibrations and currents – but without being able to control it, indeed, often without notice.

It is this fainting against the vibrations and the currents that are so omnipotent, especially because the high gifts of the pure humans, the people close to God have almost been completely diminished since the fall of the great ancestral realm/empire. And the mingling descendants lost most of the old power.

So it happened, that especially in the area that is not consciousness, the flowing forces apply and only in a minor degree being stirred by the wise humans, but never being completely controlled and usefully used.

This is because the fine nerves of the ancestors are reduced, which is essential for the control of the force, where these do not longer exist in the descendants and the descendants of those.

The only tool to make absorb and control the vibrations and flows, are the long hair of women. Like a delicate, but large and dense network, they can keep the forces and steer them, provided the woman has the necessary knowledge to understand, which is known [from the magical teachings].

This now means that most people can not handle the magic flows, although they are in the midst of them, and therefore, they are like rudderless boats on an unknown sea.

Reason, the less able to use their abilities in order to keep the many others a guiding light in the still invisible sea. [The vibrations are the forces of nature are male, however, the magical female.]

There are a handful of interesting topics one could go into with just this chapter alone. A few things I’ll point out are that even in those Ancient times, Sajaha herself alludes that there was a time when Humans were Higher, “Pure”, they had control over themselves and their environment. What happened? Again, another topic. Also another topic: It’s been noted in studies that long hair improves the ability to track and be in tune with one’s surroundings (just google: ‘native american long hair army study’ for more information on that.) Also we are familiar with the tale of Samson and Delilah from the Bible. Samson’s strength came from his long hair, if cut, then he would lose his power.

Back on point of this article. Sajaha speaks of a reality where we are surrounded by a Sea of Magical Vibrations and Flows. Yet we collectively have lost the ability to steer ourselves and are at the mercy of the currents, the tides and so on. I would now go as far to say that this state is a form of Chaos.

Aleister Crowley famously defines Magick as ““The Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will.”

For a long time I struggled with this definition. Where’s the mention of Super Powers? Where’s the mention of the Mysterious? The Supernatural? The Paranormal? It seemed, lacking, for lack of a better word.

Tying this into Sajaha’s words, Magick is the ability to Effect the Magickal Lakes, the Sea, the Vibrations and the Flows. Yet again, we have lost this. How do we cope in an ocean during a hurricane with no life raft and not knowing how to swim? Life for many is this struggle to deal with what life throws at us. One day things are going fine… and the next hour something comes up and we’re knocked off our course.

Chaos. We are “rudderless boats on an unknown sea”. And yet this is where Order comes into the picture. But who’s Order? Your Order? Do you know yourself? Do you know what you want? Where are you going? Why? “The high gifts of the pure humans, the people close to God have almost been completely diminished since the fall…” Many of us are putting in the effort, to be completely fair, to live in attune and in harmony with Life. It speaks to us, we hear and see the signs to align ourselves with the Natural Ways of the Universe. When Life presents us with some situation, and so often these are very random (Chaos), we make a decision on how to respond and the course of our lives may change for the day, may change for a year, some decisions a lifetime. This is the Order we bring from the Chaos we call Reality.

On the other side of this, Sajaha didn’t talk about Chaos. She talked about gaining knowledge of the Magical. She spoke of the Loss of Ancestral Realm where those Humans had the Power and Wisdom to Ebb and Flow with the Rhythms and to have Control of Inner and Outer.

“So it happened, that especially in the area that is not consciousness, the flowing forces apply and only in a minor degree being stirred by the wise humans, but never being completely controlled and usefully used.

This is because the fine nerves of the ancestors are reduced, which is essential for the control of the force, where these do not longer exist in the descendants and the descendants of those.”

Ordo Ab Chao. It’s more than a Saying or Motto. It’s a Promise. I leave you with this. Another of the Tablets of Sajaha, a promise, a hope of renewal of those Close to “God” (Another Topic).

Sajaha 7

A gray cloud pushes closer. But it does not rain, it does not bring smooth shadows – it obscures the light.

Nothing happy I can announce. Darkness approaches in the coming time. The temples burst, and kings are overthrown. The people fall into envy, envy fuels the hatred. Hatred feeds the forces of evil and wars form from it.

Nothing happy I can announce, neither something beautiful nor light. For the light that will come in meanwhile, to slain the servants of darkness. And the glow they will mix with the wrong tones.

And the gray cloud pushes closer. It is agglomerated to black and darkened the sky over the world.

And the earth dwellers, in their majority, do not distinguish anymore between black and white, they exchange evil and good; unaware tumbling, furiously lunatic. Nothing endures. Everything falls.

Nothing Happy I can announce – just one thing: The seventh man will rise again in later times. But first all sick souls must pass, which no longer differentiate between white and black.

One more thing, “The Seventh Man”, who or what is that referring to? I suggest it represents the Awakened Seven Chakras. This could be the fine nerves that Humanity has lost. Many researchers have found all around the World Mythology, stories about the “7 Sages”… or the “7 Apkallu”… and so on, who were Survivors of an Ancient Culture who Traveled the World after the Cataclysms and Taught Civilization and who attempted to Pass on their own Spirituality. I suggest there were not 7 of these guys, I suggest, they were called “Seven This” or “Seven That” because their Seven Chakras were Awakened and they were those who could Control and be in Tune with the Magick.
